How Do I
Get Clients?
A practical client-acquisition programme for domiciliary care providers.
Built from 35 years of care-business experience for providers who need more enquiries, better conversion and a measurable route to growth.
Experience you can put to work
35 years. Put to work for your business.
I’m Gary Stapleton. I created this programme from 35 years of experience of owning, advising and supporting Residential & Home care businesses.
It brings together the practical approaches I have seen work, the mistakes that cost providers time and money, and the tools I believe every provider should have from day one.
This programme turns that experience into practical guidance you can apply to winning enquiries and growing your care business.

Registration is important, but I have seen too many providers treat it as the moment the phone should start ringing. It is only permission to operate. I would use the period before the first package to build a controlled route from enquiry to safe start, with one person accountable for every handover.
Why this matters to the client
Registration matters to the person looking for care, but it does not answer their immediate questions: Can you help me or my relative? Can you start when we need you? Will the same people visit? What will it cost? What happens next? A newly registered provider may be proud of completing a difficult process, while the customer sees only an unfamiliar business asking for trust at a vulnerable moment. The commercial task is to turn regulatory readiness into a clear, safe and reassuring route to the first suitable package.
Inside a real care service
A provider receives registration and spends six weeks perfecting leaflets. Meanwhile, an adult daughter searching for morning support finds no price guidance, no named contact and no explanation of assessment. She chooses another provider. A better business prepares the enquiry line, assessment capacity, service agreement, rota test and first-week review before launch, then publishes a simple explanation of who it can help and how a start is agreed.
The commercial reality
Getting registered does not get you clients.
Registration gives you permission to operate. It does not create demand. A provider can have policies, software, staff and an office, yet still lack a reliable route to new clients.
